How often do the dresses get cleaned?
Our dresses get hand washed and/or cleaned and aired after every rental. They get dry cleaned after every third rental. This varies according to dress material and make.
What if I damage the dress?
With every rental there is a $30 refundable deposit. This is refunded to you once the dress is returned undamaged. If the dress is damaged the deposit will not be returned.
Are the dresses shipped or do I pick them up from a certain location?
If you live on the north shore or northern beaches (or surrounding areas) we will endeavour to organise a free delivery or a location to meet to hand over the dress. If you live outside this are we will post the dress to you via Australian Post and you will be charged postage. Additionally, if you and your school friends all order from Midnight Affair, we can give free delivery to your school on the day before your event, just make sure to let us know.
How long can I have the dress for?
Our rentals are for 5 days, if you wish to rent the dress for 7 days it will be an additional $20 regardless of the dress you are hiring.
Can I alter the dress if it doesn’t fit me?
No! Altering of dresses is not permitted.
If I end up not wearing the dress, am I able to get a refund?
No, unfortunately not.
How do I return the dress?
Best to contact us to organise a time and place to meet us to return the dress. If the dress was in packaging beforehand, that is to be returned as well!
What are the payment options?
Currently, our only form of payment is direct debit at the store checkout or cash upon picking up the dress.
